Notes: Junior members - under 18 years of age on 1st January of subscription year. e.g. if a member joins in March and their birthday is 20th February, they are still a junior providing they were under 18 years old on 1st January. Family Membership provides for one Full and any number of Junior members at the same address. Requires a separate completed application for each member covered. Where a Family Membership already exists, subsequent Junior members may be added retrospectively.
Subscription year runs from 1st January to 31st December. Applications received after 30th September are deemed paid-up for the whole of the following year. For insurance purposes, membership commences on receipt of fee by SAA Membership Secretary or appointed Agent.
*An Honorary Fellow is a member who has been awarded this status for outstanding service
to the SAA.
