Our flying site is situated to the north of the village of Blackridge in West Lothian, Scotland and is roughly halfway between the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow, around 22 miles from each city centre with easy access from the M8 motorway. - Buchan Aeromodellers

We can fly waterplanes from nearby Loch Insh. We welcome visitors and would ask all visitors to first contact the chairman (details on the "Contact Us" page). We're always there on club days, regardless of the weather. - Dumfries Model Flying Club
Like most model flying clubs, we're a bunch of guys (and girls!) who have a common interest in building and flying model aircraft. The catchment area for the club is quite large, this being a rural area and members range from absolute beginners to people like Steve Burgess (seen above), who is one of two national champions that the club can claim as it's "sons". Members participate in vitually every aspect of the hobby including i.c and electric power, gliding, R/C, free flight, indoor and helicopter "hovering". Whilst many members enjoy getting their creations into the air (and keeping them there!), some of us simply like to build. The club is there for everyone. - Dundee Model Aircraft Club
Dundee Model Aircraft Club (D.M.A.C.) formed many moons ago and we have been based at the Ministry Of Defence Army Rifle Ranges & Camp at Barry-Buddon (Monifieth) ever since. For our world wide visitors, Monifieth is situated about 8 kilometers from Dundee, Scotland's fourth largest city. - East Fortune
The Club was originally formed as the “Edinburgh & Lothians Radio Model Club”, changing to “East Fortune Aeromodellers” in 2002. The site on East Fortune Airfield is a portion of the original WWII perimeter track, which the nearby motorbike club have upgraded to form a competition-standard race track. The hard runway therefore has an immaculate surface. In 2003, mindful of ever-increasing safety requirements, the Club introduced restrictions on fixed-wing flying on Sundays while the nearby Sunday Market was open. Certain small-scale exemptions from these restrictions were made in 2005. East Fortune has a Clubhut with ample seating with a large viewing window facing the runway. The hut also has an anemometer, windsock, and a large collection of aeromodelling magazines. - East Kilbride Model Flying Club
Our club caters for all standards of modeller, whither they are raw beginners or fully-fledged international competition flyers (we have some), and we can provide supervised training for the beginner flying Radio Control for the first time. We have our own trainer aircraft complete with “Buddy Box" system (Dual Control – similar to car driving training) and beginners are encouraged to reach the Bronze Standard of flying as covered by the rules set out in the SAA Safety Code. - Elgin & Moray Flyers
Started in 2009 and based in Elgin, Morayshire. We are very fortunate to have the use of Milltown aerodrome, a disused airfield 4 miles from Elgin. Due to the unrestricted area around us and concrete take off areas we are able to fly anything from gliders to jets. We run weekly training nights in the spring and summer and organise regular fly-ins that any SAA member is welcome to attend. As our club has only recently formed our facilities are limited but with new members joining every month it will not be long before we are fully established. Anyone wishing to join or just in the area visiting can contact Nick on 01343 541025 for details. Milltown airfield can be found 2 miles from the A96 on the Lossiemouth road, please note access to the site is restricted to members or guests. - Falkirk Model Flying Club
Over and above our normal flying activities the club runs two special flying events during the year. On the Wednesday evening nearest to mid-summer day we have our Midsummer Fly-in, and in August we have our main Summer Fly-in. During the winter months from October to March we have monthly club nights, at which we have speakers who cover a wide range of aviation and model related subjects. We have three trophies which are awarded each year. The John Harling and Brian Johnstone Trophies are for flying achievements at the fly-ins and the Peter Taylor Trophy is awarded at the last club night of the winter for the best model built over the preceding months.
